Powder Coating Booth

The Powder Coating Booth is used to powder spraying components of different dimensions, small batches and for finishing operations.

The powder coating booth is characterized by a machine body made of a self-supporting structure composed of galvanized sheet panels. The suction system, positioned in the booth ceiling, is composed of one or two centrifugal fans with an internal backward blade rotor, which guarantees high suction yields and low noise.

The filtering media is composed of an initial labyrinth-shaped cardboard filter and a second filtration stage of cartridges filters, which suck in the polluted airflow coming from the spraying operation while expelling the cleaned airflow. The cardboard filter is used to stop bigger pollutant particles entering the booth, while cartridges stop the smaller ones. The particles filtered need to precipitate to avoid diminishing the cartridges filtering capacity, hence precluding the powder coating booth suction efficiency.

An automated system injecting streams of compressed air within the cartridges assure the filtering media is always kept clean. This is managed by an electrical timer functioning with a microprocessor which set the injection of compressed air at a fixed frequency rate.

The filtering media obstruction is monitored through a visual system or a differential pressure switch acoustic signal.

The powder coating booth is equipped with ceiling lights and an electrical panel to control the utilities installed.

NOTE:

Where necessary, the components (aspirator, ceiling, etc.) of the powder coating booth are supplied according to ATEX requirements.
