HIGH-EFFICIENCY SUCTION AND FILTRATION SYSTEM

The sanding booth is used to extract and filter dust created from sanding and deburring operations (on wood, plastic, ceramic, …) and can be used along with manual, electrical, and pneumatic tools.

The sanding booth is characterized by a machine body made of a self-supporting structure composed of galvanized sheet panels. The suction system, positioned in the booth ceiling, is composed of one or two centrifugal fans with an internal backward blade rotor, which guarantees high suction yields and low noise.

The sucked airflow, loaded with pollutants, is filtered through two stages filtering media, a first layer made of a cardboard labyrinth-shaped filter, and the second one of cartridges filters. The pollutants entering the media are decelerated as the bigger ones are stopped from the first layer, while the smaller ones from the cartridges. In this way, the cartridges filters remain efficient for a long period.

Moreover, to keep the cartridges efficient in the long term, a compressed air tank is installed which injects dedicated airstreams into the cartridges. The overall process is managed by an automated timer commanded by a microprocessor, operating through a dedicated cycle to clean the filtering media following a fixed time base.

The filter media obstruction is signaled by a visual system or by a differential pressure switch.
